Rick's first blog entry!!

Hi everyone,

I'm very new at this 'blog thing' and thought I'd give it a go. Before meeting with Leo Keane I didn't know about blogs!

At this stage I simply wanted to say that I am SO grateful that so many people have responded to this reunion in such a positive way and that you are willing to attend on June 16, back at the Empire Theatre!! It was truly meant to be when Michelle McIntyre suggested to me that we organise a reunion. The timing was perfect! I have thought about the reunion idea for many years now, and it's now a 'happenin' thing'!

Last year I was involved in a production of 'Me and My Girl' with the local Philharmonic Society and we performed the musical on the Empire Stage. It was such a pleasure to be on the Empire stage again and to recall many memories from our 'Genesis Experience'.

Since being back in Toowoomba for the last 12 years or so I have kept the 'craft alive' by continuing to perform with the local Rep Theatre here and that's been very enjoyable and therapeutic.
